The best mother ever

Hello guys, John here bringing you different blog.  This happened a long time ago and luckily found its way back to me today. If you guys weren't aware which was probably the case as  I haven't told anyoneas it made me very sad... I lost my iPad in Japan! Let me back up ... we arrive on the airport bus taking us to the Norita airport in Tokyo. I randomly forget my iPad in the little pouch in front of the seat.  Pretty dumb and a rookie mistake.  I actually only realized that I left the iPad on the bus only after we boarded our plane for Bangkok. I eventually lost hope and began to sob all over the place.  Everyone except for Elizabeth had lost hope, they said it's almost impossible to get it back, the mail system is really poor in Laos.  The only way it will arrive in time in Laos was express post luckily we were going to stay in Luang Prabang for 10 days. I will strongly admit that that was the worst 6 hours of my life because we had no way to communicate with the bus company or anything. I eventually started to wonder every little bad thing that could happen, will someone steel it, will it get dropped on the floor and become broken or will someone take all of my user data to track me down and assassinate me? I DON'T EVEN KNOW BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE  INTERNET ACCESS on the plane! It was torture let's just say that. We arrived in Bangkok and my mom got to work on tracking down the iPad right away.  It took days and many Skype calls to Japan but she was successful and tracked everything down, shipping status, tracking Id, every little thing and I am so happy because guess what? It arrived in Luang Prabang today! The tracking Id said that it was in Vientiane since July 30 and we were getting worried that it would never make it to Luang Prabang.  But then she phone led the post office in Vientiane with the help of he hotels staff speaking Laotian and they said it was at the post office in Luang Prabang ...it was in Luang Prabang the entire time despite what the online tracker said.  We had to walk to the post office twice as the first time it was closed. Let me remind you that pretty much everyone lost hope... EVERYONE! I know that dad is the butt of my jokes, but as soon as I told him on the plane, he was like 'Yeah sorry john and everything but it's never gonna come back' AND I'M LIKE 'WHAT THE HECK IS THAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE SLIGHTEST AMOUNT OF HOPE?' He was like 'No'. Great parenting skills to set me for my life dad thanks I really appreciate it. So it arrived and I'm like in 'IN YOUR FACE DAD! THAT WILL SHOW YOU MY INNER CHI BABY!'. Miracles are real because let me slowly point out that Laos's mail system is not the greatest. Let me tell you why that is the title of my blog, once I finally got the packaging in my hands, mom made me repeat and repeat and repeat the same 4 words 'The greatest mom ever', which I do admit she is for going through all this trouble by talking to Japanese strangers over the phone and more. Thank you mom so much, you are truly 'The greatest mom ever'. Until next time guys, this has been John and is officially signing out and is not up for pictures SO STOP BADGERING ME, I WILL DO IT WHEN I'M READY JEEZ!
